That move alone gives us a clear message and indication that the company is ready to invest in this very technology.
And as seen by 9to5Mac, one of the listings in question is for a Visual Generative Modeling Research Engineer. The role listed will be part of “a group that will shape the way generative AI technologies transform Apple’s mobile computing platforms”, the description states.
That sounds fairly quite ambitious to us. It is however not clear as to exactly just what these roles mean for users, but the number of roles that are now open and available and the language that is used in their descriptions would point to Apple taking generative AI very seriously.
