You can now order Domino’s pizza via Apple CarPlay. Dominos is now allowing pizza orders in the car with the reported new Apple CarPlay support. This new development will now let you quickly pick up a pizza on your way home from the office.
Domino’s Pizza Apple CarPlay
Already, dominos let people order pizza with just the tap of a button on their phones, but now the company is allowing users to do it right on their car’s infotainment screen through CarPlay. The new feature which was just announced puts a very simplified version of the Domino’s app on the dash of users and lets them “Tap to Order,” which will signal your main store instantly to begin making your favorite order for pickup.
You can alternatively tap on “Call to Order” and then talk to someone hands-free in order to order something different as that is the only available medium to customize your options.
What Domino’s Has To Say about the New Feature
“We know how frustrating it can be to wait in a [fast food] drive-thru line just to place an order,” Christopher Thomas-Moore, Domino’s SVP chief digital officer, in a press release said. “Domino’s app on CarPlay is a great alternative to that, as customers still have the convenience of staying in their car, and can place an order from wherever they are, without waiting in a long drive-thru.”

And to do this, get the dominos app for iPhone and then log in or create an account. After that create an “Easy Order,” which as you should know will be used for the instant “Tap to Order,” and then launch the Dominos app through your Apple CarPlay.
Domino’s Different Pizza Delivery Experiments
Domino’s as you should know has toyed with pizza ordering experiments severally, and this is including instant pizza orders through the pizza emoji text and a “zero click” app that orders pizza at launch instantly. The company also recently launched electric delivery vehicles that comprised a fleet of Chevy Bolts which as you should already know by now is a GM vehicle that will not have Apple CarPlay in future models, how ironic.
