Dunant was born on May 8th, 1828 in Geneva, Switzerland, and he passed away on October 30th, 1910 in Heiden, Switzerland. He was also the founder of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and was awarded the first Nobel Peace Prize in 1901.
