About the Women in Finance Scholarship 2024
Numerix is dedicated to assisting bright women in the capital markets through its annual Women in Finance Scholarship program. The scholarship programme, formerly known as the FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship, was started in 2014 and has continued since Numerix acquired FINCAD in 2023.
The Women in Finance Scholarship is intended to uplift and assist deserving females in the finance industry, especially those who wish to work in fixed-income, derivatives finance, market risk management, or financial asset management.
The scholarship offers much-needed funding in order to support women in achieving success in their post-graduate studies in finance and the capital markets.
Scholarship
Up to US$20,000 award, half of which goes directly to the winner and half to the educational institution to directly help with tuition, is presented to one deserving woman each year to fund graduate-level studies in finance.
Eligiblity Requirements for Women in Finance Scholarship 2024
To be eligible for the Women in Finance Scholarship 2024, you must meet the requirements below:
- The candidate must be enrolled full-time in a Master’s or PhD programme in finance and;
- Must have started their studies no earlier than January 1, 2024, and no later than February 1, 2025.
- Fewer than five years of professional experience in the financial sector and fewer than ten years of overall work experience are prerequisites.
- Female citizens of any nation may apply. However, they must be enrolled in a post-graduate finance programmes at recognized universities.
