Ubisoft+ Finally May Soon Arrive On Xbox Series X

After many months of waiting, finally we have news already that Ubisoft+, the subscription service Ubisoft could arrive soon on Xbox consoles. The service currently is available on PC and the company has previously expressed that Ubisoft+ would be arriving on Xbox consoles back in January alongside news of the launch of Rainbow Six Extraction on Xbox Game Pass.

This service is the provider of gaming titles such as Assassins creed Valhalla and watch dogs legion and it grants users and subscribers one day access to both games and DLC all starting from $14.99 monthly.

And now, all thanks to the datamine of its backend, we have learned that it could soon be launching for Xbox consoles. The news was initially posted by a user on Twitter known as Aggiornameni Lumia. A logo of Ubisoft+ has been sighted within the store thus suggesting that Ubisoft is almost ready for a launch.

You should however keep in mind that unlike the subscription service of EA, EA Play, it will not be part of Xbox game pass ultimate or Xbox game pass. It will be launching as a separate service rather. That being said, the exact plans of Ubisoft at this moment still remain unclear. And while subscribers to the platform on PC can ass cloud gaming through Google Stadia for extra, it’s still unknown if Ubisoft will attempt to carry out a similar type of arrangement with Xbox cloud gaming.

The Partnership between Ubisoft and Microsoft Still Remains Strong

Last year alone, we have been seeing an increased partnership between the Microsoft and Ubisoft companies, a time where Ubisoft+ classics made their way to PS Plus. And while the French publisher is clearly focused on its own subscription service as of now, that has not stopped the Xbox game pass platform from getting more Ubisoft games.

And across Xbox one, Xbox series X|S, Xbox cloud gaming, and PC, this year alone has seen some big names in the industry drop into the service of Microsoft. In 2022 alone, titles such as assassins creed origins, ghost recon wildlands and for honor have all appeared on the platforms, and also immortals fenyx rising is stipulated to join them on the 30th of august.

When Will The Plans Of Ubisoft And Xbox Take Effect?

That being said, we are still hopeful that it will not be long before we hear anything concrete about the plans of Ubisoft and Xbox. Ubisoft alongside an appearance at Gamescom 2022 this very week, previously announced that it will be hosting a Ubisoft forward presentation on September 10. And given the timing of this leak, we would b very surprised if neither of the events provide any news in that regard.
