Toyota Posted a Teaser for Its Upcoming Grand Highlander This Week
This week, Toyota posted a teaser for its upcoming Grand Highlander, which will is set to make its debut at the 2023 Chicago Auto Show in February next year. The teaser shows off a little bit of the Grand Highlander’s rear end, with a set of taillights that looks much cooler than what the standard Highlander offers currently. The rear also looks far more squarish, which is something that should be really good for third-row interior space.
Other Pieces of Information Gotten From the Teaser
The only other bit of information that we can get from the teaser involves the Grand Highlander’s powertrain. On the trunk of this SUV, there is a small Hybrid Max badge. And in case you don’t know, this is the name for Toyota’s latest gas-electric hybrid system, which we first got to experience on the 2023 Crown sedan. This system pairs a 2.4-liter turbocharged I4 gas engine to an electric motor in a bid to produce a net 340 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.
