Starfield’s Next Major Update

Starfield’s Next Major Update

Bethesda in a new tweet that was shared today, reportedly thanked fans for the successful launch of its latest RPG, stating that it’s “blown away by the response” and that it has also read the feedback regarding what could be improved or added to the game.

“This is a game we’ll be supporting for years and years to come, so please keep all the feedback coming,” Bethesda stated, just before adding that even if some requests are not immediately added to the game, it would, however, love to implement them in the future, such as city maps.

“Our priority initially is making sure any top blocker bugs or stability issues are addressed, and adding quality-of-life features that many are asking for.”

Bethesda to Release a Small Hotfix First

Bethesda further explained that it is releasing a very small hotfix first, which will reportedly make improvements to the stability of the Xbox Series S | X, but however, after that, players can then expect “a regular interval of updates” of community-requested features.

And in case you don’t know, they include Nvidia DLSS support on PC, as well as an HDR Calibration Menu, FOV Slider, 32:9 Ultrawide Monitor Support for PC, Brightness as well as Contrast controls, and even an “Eat” button for food so that you don’t have to keep opening your inventory menu every time you need something.

Starfield Launched Without DLSS Support

Starfieldas you should know reportedly launched without DLSS support and has since then been one of the most highly requested features for PC. The game in question only featured Radeon’s FSR2 upscaling technology, so players in the game had to resort to modding in a bid to add DLSS to the game in order to improve their performance.

“We’re also working closely with Nvidia, AMD, and Intel on driver support, and each update will include new stability and performance improvements,” the studio added.

Starfield to Get an Official Mod Support in the Coming Year

It was just recently reported that Starfield will be getting official mod support in the coming year, but the latest post from Bethesda expanded on what game director Todd Howard originally revealed, simply by giving players an “early” 2024 release window, which will in question work across PC as well as consoles “similar to what we’ve done with Skyrim and Fallout 4.”

You Can Now Download Nvidia Graphics Driver Update

And while it is that you are waiting for official DLSS support, you can easily and effectively download the latest Nvidia graphics driver update now and that should improve the performance of your game.
