Applications are now open for the Qalaa Holdings Scholarship 2024, targeting Egyptian nationals. Established in 2007, the Qalaa Holdings Scholarship Foundation aims to contribute to Egypt’s national development by fostering highly skilled professionals across various sectors.
Funded by an endowment from Qalaa Holdings, the foundation offers academic scholarships to talented Egyptian individuals to pursue master’s degrees abroad in diverse fields of study.
Scholarship details
The QHSF provides funding under two schemes: a full scholarship covering tuition and living expenses, and a partial scholarship covering tuition fees only. The maximum limit for tuition fees is $50,000 per year.
Eligibility Criteria For Qalaa Holdings Scholarship 2024 for Egyptians
- Applicants must be under the age of 35 and Egyptian nationals residing in Egypt.
- A minimum of two years of work experience post-graduation is required.
- Applicants must plan to pursue their studies at a top-ranked university abroad in their chosen field and have received unconditional acceptance.
- Proficiency in the language of study and a good command of English are necessary.
- Involvement in civic, public, or international affairs (NGOs, volunteer work, etc.) is considered an asset. Demonstration of genuine financial need is required.
- Applicants should not be beneficiaries of any other partial scholarships or grants, except for waivers from their chosen university.
- Upon completion of the program, graduates must commit to returning to work in Egypt for a minimum of two years.
- For male applicants, military service status must be clear.

Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Completed Qalaa Holdings Scholarship application form.
- Copy of the acceptance letter from the chosen university.
- Completed application form submitted to the chosen university.
- Updated curriculum vitae (CV).
- Two reference letters.
- Copy of the Military Certificate (for male applicants only).
