Benefits of enrollment for Polygon Bootcamp Africa for Web3 Developers 2022

The benefits of Participating In the polygon Bootcamp Include:

Consideration for bounties of $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000, respectively for the top three Beginner projects while Mastery projects will compete for bounties of $10,000, $7,000, and $5,000.
Top Mastery submissions will also be channeled into Polygon’s Accelerator program, to ensure more mentorship and funding.
Additionally, about 10 runner-up Beginner projects, and 30 runner-ups in Mastery, will receive $500 and $750, respectively.

Criteria for Polygon Bootcamp Africa for Web3 Developers Qualification

The Polygon Bootcamp Africa 2022 is divided into two concurrent tracks namely;

Beginner Track
Mastery track

Beginner Track

This track will focus on advanced web3 education and is targeted to those who have some experience in the web3 space.

The Participants will form teams or build projects individually with the help of industry mentors.

The Beginner track is for Web3 newbies and Web2 developers looking for a change. It is an opportunity to kick start to a different career, a new web, and capturing more of the value you create.

All the Participants under this category will learn all about blockchain mechanics, writing smart contracts, decentralized computing, and what it takes to launch an app.

Mastery Track

The Mastery track is for the well-traveled Web3 builders with a few feathers in their cap. The track will focus on advanced web3 education and is targeted to those who have some experience in the web3 space.

The Participants will form teams or build projects individually with the help of industry mentors.

For a beginner with little or no knowledge of Web3 and want to learn and start, apply to Web3 Beginner Track. Those who already know quite a bit and are ready to level-up with some mentorship and project building, can go for Web3 Master Track

What is the Duration that the Bootcamp Requires?

The duration for the Learning programme is 6 weeks while the hackathon phase of the programme is 2 weeks. Also, you are required to commit 40hrs/week during the learning phase.

Can Application for the Bootcamp be made in Teams?

Yes you can apply as a team however, all participants are expected to participate in the learning phase.
