The PlayStation VR2 Release Date has been revealed finally alongside an intense price tag. Although the release date has been revealed, the price tag attached to it is truly eye-watering.
Just as we already knew, Sony’s next virtual reality headset was set to launch in early 2023, but recently, the exact date and the price tag attached have been revealed. The PSVR2 set includes the following:
- Left and Right PSVR2 Sense Controllers
- Headphones
- Headset
All of the items listed above have been scheduled to launch in February 22, 2023, and it carries an MSRP of about $549.99. this makes it a bit more than the original PSVR or the Meta Quest 2 post-price hike.

PlayStation VR2 Release Date and Price
As long as the PSVR2 does offer quite a bit more than its predecessor, with a little wider field of view, a much higher resolution OLED panel, more accurate controller tracking, and it would be a bit more comfortable based on its reduced weight and a much-improved airflow. The major deal here is the price. And that is not even factoring in the cost of the PS5, which you would need to make use of using the PSVR2.

PSVR 2 Pre-Order
Registration for Pre-Orders kicks off today at PlayStation.com with the pre-orders properly commencing on Tuesday, November 15. Eventually, reservations would be made available through other retailers, but Sony stated that it would be limited to the official PlayStation store for an amount of time that is yet to be made known to the public.
