Just as I have mentioned in this article, the Payoneer request money is a feature on the Payoneer platform. This feature is also known as the request a payment feature. With this feature, users can now request payments from their business clients from their Payoneer accounts.
Normally most users on the platform only know that they can send and receive money on the platform. What they don’t know is that they can actually request their money from their business partners. And how can they do that? They can do that using the Payoneer request a payment feature.
With this feature, you can tell a client or request payment from your client, indicating e amount, description, and payment due date. You can also attach involves and other relevant documents if you choose to. When your client receives this request, he or she can then choose to pay with one of the various payment methods on the platform.
Who Can Make Use of the Payoneer ‘Request a Payment’ Feature
As long as you have a registered account on the Payoneer platform you can make use of this feature. But this isn’t a guarantee. You can have a Payoneer account and this feature might still not be available to you. And this will only happen due to what you use your Payoneer account for. What you Need to Make Use of this Feature

However, if you do not have a Payoneer account, you can easily create one now. Creating a Payoneer account is easy but at the same time technical.
The account creation process in Payoneer is made up of four stages. You will need to complete these four stages before you can successfully create your account. To start the process, go to Payoneer. On the Payoneer homepage click on the register tab, to get started.
How to Send Payment Requests to Clients Using Payoneer
To send a payment request to your clients;
- Log in to your Payoneer account.
- Go to the menu tab and then click on receive.
- Select request a payment.
- You will need to verify your business to continue with the process by providing relevant documents. This is only done once. If you have done this before you can disregard this step and head to the next step.
- Fill in the payment details in the form.
- Add ‘invoice’ and other relevant documents.
- Click on ‘preview’ to see the message that will be sent to your client.
- Click on send.
That’s it! You have just requested payment from your client.
