New York University is currently accepting applications for its NYU Africa House Fellowship Programs for the academic year 2024/2025. This program is being funded by external donors, it’s a golden chance for current undergraduate and graduate students to enrol for short-term fellowship opportunities, each valued at a substantial $1,500.
The NYU Africa House Fellowship aims to catalyze innovative solutions with the potential to positively impact the developing world. The aim of the fellowship is beyond providing financial benefits but creating a platform to exploring and addressing critical issues in areas such as:
- Economic and Political Theory
- Economic Development and Technology
- Food and Agricultural Markets
- Migration and Diaspora
- Local Governance
- Cultural Norms, and
- Development of Property Rights
Eligibility Criteria for the NYU Fellowship Program
Candidates must be enrolled in a New York University undergraduate or graduate program with an anticipated May 2025 graduation date.
Conditions:
- Describe your intended involvement in Africa House/CTED’s intellectual life in the Africa House Fellowship Application Form.
- Write one (1) research paper, either alone or in collaboration, summarizing the results of your project, to be sent to Africa House/CTED in the spring of 2025.
- Present your study findings in the spring of 2025 at Africa House.
