Netflix has officially announced the extension of its Netflix Creative Equity Scholarship Fund to film and television students in Nigeria and the entire West and Central Africa region.

The Applications for this scholarship are now open for students to apply to study at institutions in Nigeria, Ghana, Benin and Gabon. The program is set to lunch across the west African region for the 2022 academic session.

To implement it’s aims and objectives of this scholarship Awards, Netflix will partners with Dalberg as fund administrator in the West and Central Africa region.

Eligibility Criteria for Netflix Creative Equity Scholarship Fund 2022 Qualification

  • Eligible West and Central African Countries include the following: Benin, Burkina Faso, Niger, Cape Verde, Côte D’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.
  • Ideal applicants must be citizens of and currently living in a West or Central African country
  • To be eligible, the Applicants must take courses related to television and film at one of the partner institutions
  • Candidates already be registered as a student in the partner institutions. Preference will be given to students who are 1 or 2 years away from graduation
  • Only students who have obtained admission to study the different Television and film disciplines for the 2022 academic session, can access fund.
