Applications are currently open for the Mülheim Water Award 2024, which honors practice-oriented research and development projects, as well as the implementation of innovative concepts for water analysis and a secure drinking water supply.
This award is open to individuals, groups, and institutions from Europe, recognizing already implemented innovative procedures, products, concepts, and new findings with a strong focus on practical use and application within water management.
Benefits of the Award
The prize to win in 2024 is €10,000, donated in equal parts by RWW Rheinisch-Westfälische Wasserwerksgesellschaft mbH and GERSTEL GmbH & Co. KG, both companies located in Mülheim in Germany.
Eligibility
- Natural or legal persons, groups of persons, and institutions from Europe may apply with projects about innovative procedures, solutions, products, and concepts.
- Projects should focus on practical use and applicability within water management.
- Applicants can only apply individually, not be nominated or suggested by others, and cannot suggest anyone else. If applying as a group, a ‘leading applicant’ must be named.
- Allowed projects include those dealing with strategic or operational questions in the area of drinking water supply, projects from all areas of application in water analysis, and projects related to wastewater with a demonstrable positive impact on drinking water supply.
