Types of Scholarship at Monash University
Research Training Program Scholarship
This scholarship is designed for domestic and foreign students enrolled in research master’s and doctoral degrees.
An RTP Stipend (living allowance) is offered as part of this program to assist domestic and international students with living expenses while attending Monash. Up to $29,000 in scholarships are awarded in total.
Monash Graduate Scholarship
Monash University offers Monash Graduate Scholarships (MGS) to domestic and international students pursuing Research Master’s and Research Doctorate degrees. Up to $29,000 in scholarships are awarded in total.
Maxwell King PhD Scholarship
Professor Maxwell King, who made a significant contribution to graduate research at Monash University and served for eight years as the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Research and Research Training, is the honoree of the Maxwell King Scholarship (MKS).
MKS seeks to assist PhD students with living expenses while attending Monash University. Up $35,600 is awarded to successful Applicants
Monash Silver Jubilee PhD Scholarship
The MSJS is available to assist a student with living expenses while attending Monash. The scholarship is awarded every year on a rotating basis to several faculties. The award will give money Up to $35,000.
Raydon Graduate Research Scholarships
Graduate research students in the appropriate Humanities and Social Sciences subject areas may apply for one of the coveted Raydon Graduate Research Scholarships to help with living expenses.
The Narodowski Investment Trust’s financial contribution generously enables these scholarships. About $20,000 is made available for recipients of this scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Monash University Research Scholarship award, you must meet the criteria below:
- Domestic or International Students can apply for this scholarship
- Australian citizens can apply including New Zealand citizens
- Candidates with Australian permanent residency can apply
- Holders of the Australian humanitarian visa are eligible to apply
- An International student who wishes to apply is welcome
- Applicants must have a Bachelors Degree.
- Please note that this scholarships are awarded based on an applicant’s academic record, research output, and prior research experience.
- English Language Requirements is mandatory for all applicants
