Are you a fan of Microsoft teams? If you are then it might interest you to know that soon, your Microsoft team calls should get more interactive whether you prefer it or not all thanks to a new addition to the platform and service.

Microsoft has revealed that it is now working on an addition of Question and Answer feature popularly known as Q&A to Teams webinars and meetings for its video conferencing service. The newest addition is set to come with a new level of collaboration and interactivity to calls in Microsoft teams whether it is a university lecture, joking around with friends, or a company-wide meeting.

Microsoft to Introduce Q&A Feature

For now, the feature is still very much in development. This is according to its entry in the official Microsoft 365 roadmap. The entry lists and expected general availability date of July 2022. This, therefore, means that we will not have to wait for long before we get the new feature.

“By enabling Q&A…Meeting Organizers will be able to create either moderated or unmoderated Q&A experience,” notes the entry. The entry adds that Q&A will also be available across Microsoft teams meetings and webinars. But however, it will have to be enabled by the organizer of the meeting.

The feature when launched will be available to all users of Microsoft teams globally across, desktop, web, mobile, iOS, and android.

The news is the latest slew of features and various upgrades that has been added to the Microsoft Teams service in a bid to make the platform more interactive and smarter for users all over the globe.

Other Features Set To Be Added By Microsoft to the Service

Some of these features include the addition of various generations of avatars to help represent you during a call making use of the Microsoft Teams together mode. This very mode displays a live avatar character for each participant on a call.

Microsoft has also revealed its plans to soon introduce 3D avatars alongside many other immersive Microsoft teams meetings within the revered ‘metaverse’ in the near future 2022.

Microsoft to Add Games to the Teams Service

The tech company also has revealed recently that it would be adding a slew of basic games to the Microsoft teams service to help users pass time while they are in the process of waiting for a call to start.

Various gaming titles from the casual game’s platform of the company are all set to be part of the move from the company that is aimed at helping to pass time.
