The beVisioneers fellowship program is an annual Program funded by Mercedes-Benz through donations and additionally acts as the title sponsor. The beVisioneers fellowship is an initiative of the DO School Fellowships; a German non-profit organization, which to date still implements it.
As the first call for fellow applications in January 2023, beVisioneers Program will be launched in June 2023 with an initial cohort of fellows from three regions: India, South Africa, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, and UK. About Mercedes-Benz beVisioneers Fellowship
Mercedes-Benz beVisioneers Fellowship is funding a global Program that will provide training and scholarships to thousands of young people globally to implement their projects in the areas of environmental sustainability and decarbonization.
In other to make the Fellowship funds available, Mercedes-Benz auctioned the world’s most valuable car, a 1955 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé, for a record price of €135 million.
beVisioneers is aimed at training young innovators and providing the resources and expert support they need to bring a positive project or idea to life regardless of financial status or location.
Successful beVisioneers fellows will participate in a unique, one-year hybrid learning program designed and implemented by education pioneers The DO School Fellowships gGmbH.
Upon completing the program and launching their project, fellows become lifelong members of the beVisioneers community, getting support to continue developing their project as well as their leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
Benefits of Mercedes-Benz BeVisioneers Fellowship 2023
- No cost is required from individual fellows.
- beVisioneers fellowship is fully funded by a donation from Mercedes-Benz. Therefore, fellows benefit from the training curriculum and from access to the beVisioneers online community.
- Expenses associated with travel to summits are covered by the Fellowship
- beVisioneers fellowship programs commence with a 12-month hybrid intensive program, combining weekly on-demand and live classes in which fellows build knowledge and learn by doing.
- Grants will be awarded to the projects with the highest potential for environmental impact.
- Fellows will get to learn the DO Method for taking ideas from the project phase to launch and beyond whether they received the Grant or not.

- While applying, you will be asked questions on topics such as your project or project idea, its impact, and your dedication to creating environmental change. Ensure to provide the right details
- The complete application should take about one hour to complete. Save your application at any time to return later to it.
- You also need to upload official proof of identity and record a motivational video of 90 seconds or less.
Eligibility Criteria for Mercedes-Benz beVisioneers fellowship
- Candidates must fall between the ages of 16 and 28 at the time of applying
- Should be resident in Denmark, Germany, Hungary, India, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden or UK
- Demonstrate strong dedication to positive environmental change
- Must show entrepreneurial spirit, including persistence, resilience and determination
- Demonstrate leadership in their communities
- Posses an early-stage project or idea for positive environmental impact in one or more of the target countries
- Candidates should not have worked for, or have a parent or guardian who works for Mercedes-Benz
