Marvel unveils its phase 6 MCU plans and this includes 2 new avengers films. The movie production company says that phase 6 of its MCU plans will close out its ‘multiverse saga with the Avengers: Secret wars in 2025.
Marvel Unveils Its Phase 6 MCU Plans
The company after starting its Saturday comic-con panel by unveiling reporting that phase 4 will come to an end with this year’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, marvel studios blazed through its phase 5 announcements all through its post2021 plans including some updates pertaining to phase 6. This means that we have now got updates on three Marvel cinematic universe phases from marvel studios.
And similarly to the infinity saga which is the name given to at the end of phase 3 to refer to the first phase of movies, the next trio now seems to have a name of their own: the multiverse saga.
Titles to Expect In MCUs Phase 6
During the phase 6 announcements, only three films were shown on the screen and this is inclusive of two avengers films and they are;
- Fantastic Four will be released on November 8, 2024
- Avengers: The Kang Dynasty on May 2, 2025
- Avengers: Secret Wars will be released on November 7, 2025
President of marvel studios Kevin Feige revealed to Deadline just after the panel that the Russo Brothers are not involved with the next project from avengers. Feige also refused to name the ‘thematics’ of phases unannounced, revealing to the deadline that the studio usually does not like to discuss each of its phases upon completion, because “all of our stories are both interconnected and hopefully stand apart.”
With everything we know about marvel studios, these are unlikely to be the online movies of phase 6. When Feige announced the timeline, you could clearly see that there were missing titles.
Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 5 Schedule
With the D23 slated to hold this September, we may get more insight into hose open dates, but as for now, we may as well keep our fingers crossed in the possibilities. However, earlier in the panel, marvel announced its phase 5 schedule also and they are;
- Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania: set to be released on February 17, 2023
- Secret Invasion (Disney plus show): spring 2023
- Guardians of the galaxy vol. 3: to be released on May 5, 2023
- Echo (Disney plus show): summer 2023
- Loki, season 2 (Disney plus show): summer 2023
- The marvels: July 28, 2023
- Ironheart (Disney plus show): fall 2023
- Blade: November 3, 2023
- Agatha, Coven of Chaos (Disney plus show, the name changed from Agatha: house of Harkness): winter 2023-24
- Daredevil: Born Again 9disney plus show): to be released in spring 2024
- Captain America: New World Order: May 3, 2024
- Thunderbolts: July 26, 2024
With this list, it now seems we will be having lots of Marvel movies to get by through the years.
