Benefits of Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship 2023/2024
Successful Candidates/Scholars having a full Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship will receive the following benefits:
- Full tuition fees waiver
- living allowance of NZ$531 per week to help with a scholar’s basic living expenses.
- Candidates who commence their study programme online in their home country will have their stipend adjusted to reflect the difference in living costs around the world.
- Scholars will receive an establishment allowance of NZ$3000 to help with set-up costs in New Zealand. This stipend can be used for accommodation expenses, textbooks, or other study materials.
- Provision of medical insurance when Scholars are in New Zealand.
- tutoring costs Coverage up to NZ$1000, to assist with the cost of additional tutoring while the scholars are studying if needed.
- Travel insurance.

Eligibility Criteria for Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship Qualification
To apply for a Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship, Applicants are expected to meet the conditions below:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old or older at the commencement of the scholarship.
- Candidates must meet both the academic entry requirements and the English language requirements determined by each educational institution.
- All Postgraduate scholarship applicants and those who graduated from high school over 3 years ago, must have relevant work experience (either paid, unpaid or voluntary)
