Just IMAGINE if… was founded by Paul Lindley, former UK Entrepreneur of the Year, founder of Ella’s Kitchen, and Chancellor of the University of Reading, the scheme has already awarded two prizes to scale, innovate, and implement world-changing ideas in 2019 and 2022.
Now, the University of Reading and Henley Business School are looking to discover a third winner and create more opportunities to address global challenges.
Grant
The grant for research is valued at a maximum of £100,000 and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to someone else. Also, there are no other alternatives available for the grant.
Eligibility Criteria
- The opportunity is available to aspiring entrepreneurs who are 18 years old and above.

How To Apply For Just IMAGINE if… Research Grant 2024
- To apply, make sure your submission includes the following:
- A concise written idea outline, within a limit of 1,000 words, that demonstrates a sustainable business model for your idea, emphasizing scalability and self-sufficiency.
- Provide a written outline detailing the specific research support needed from the University to bring your idea to life and ensure its viability.
- Include a brief video, no longer than 60 seconds, explaining the societal impact your idea will have and how the research grant will contribute to this.
- During the selection process, applications will be assessed against certain criteria to ensure eligibility and completion of all necessary information.
