Get a Google Chromecast

If you happen to own one that is great, or else you would have to get a Chromecast 3rd Generation or Chromecast with Google TV.

Unfortunately, an Amazon Fire TV stick or another alternative streaming stick would not cut out the mustard, it has to be one of Google’s own rights now.

Download the Oculus Mobile App on your Smartphone

In other to do this, the android phone you are required to be using must be Android 5.0 or later, an iPhone that is running on iOS 12.4 or later, or an iPad that is running on iPadOS 12.4 or later.

When you originally set up your Quest 2 headset, you were probably prompted also to set up the app as a part of the process, which means that you might have downloaded it. If you have since deleted it, then you just have to re-download the app and sign in and you should be able to reconnect to your VR headset via Bluetooth without going through much fuss.

If you are yet to make use of the app at all, that really does not matter as it is just as simple for you. Download the Oculus app straight from Google Play or the App Store and then sign in via Facebook or Oculus account that’s linked to your quest 2.

Your account should already be connected to your account, but if it is yet to be connected head to Menu > Devices > + > quest 2 and follow the onscreen directions.

Turn on the Quest 2 Headset and cast it via the Oculus App

This step is the last you would be required to take, this step involves a little more involved than the last few, so here is what to do.

Launch the app and search for the symbol that looks more like a headset with a signal coming out of it right at the top. Right after pressing it, you should be able to see your connected headset; you would be required to tap on the little down arrow right next to it.
