- The first step is making an initial application under the HKPFS. The application must be submitted through the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme Electronic System.
- Automatically, the system will assign an HKPFS Reference Number which an applicant needs to quote in their application for admission to their selected universities.
- There are no application fee charges for the HKPFS. But, universities may charge application or other processing fees.
