Google Pixel Watch has been set to Launch very Soon. When the pixel 6 launches was announced in October, a lot of rumors have been going around concerning the Pixel 6a. For even longer, we have been getting information concerning Google pixel watch, though, at the moment, nothing has materialized in any capacity officially.
While this spring launch for the Pixel 6a might be a foregone conclusion considering the previous hardware releases, a date for the launch of the Pixel watch might become even harder to pin down.
Well, according to SlashGear, they have gotten some indication that the two devices might be launching together soon. New references to the two devices have been discovered in a mobile carrier’s inventory system, meaning that the carrier in this question is getting ready to receive shipments of them. The date for that to occur is yet to be known, but this is an indication that Google actually might be planning a pixel 6a and a pixel watch combo for sometime in the months to come.
Pixel Watch Surprise Appearance
As stated by Max Weinbach of Android police, an unnamed source has spotted a reference to the pixel watch in a U.S. carrier’s inventory system. We are yet to be sure of the carrier we are talking about here, but that is somewhat beside the point.
At the moment, at least the pixel watch would be coming with the name “Rohan” in the carrier’s database, it also states that it would be offering around 32GB of storage and it would be available in the following color schemes;
- Gray
- Black and
- Gold
Those are all the information that we have gotten from the carrier’s inventory listing, it seems, but Weinbach also stated that since the carrier in question is yet to offer a non-cellular smartwatch, it is like the pixel watch would come with some kind of mobile internet capability. 4G LTE? 5G? at the moment, no one is sure, but given that this is a carrier inventory system we are yet to see these references in, it would probably support one if not the two of them.
Launching With Pixel 6a
To add, Weinbach’s source stated that the carrier inventory listing shows references to another device codenamed “Blujay,” or the pixel 6a. The details revealed are quite similar to those that we learn concerning this mysterious “Ronan” device, with the carrier listing revealing storage for what might be a base model – 128GB – alongside three different color schemes in black, white, and green.
Aside from these morsels, no other details have been revealed by these carrier listings concerning these devices. Meaning at the moment, there is nothing on the important bits like pricing and the date of release, but no one has assumed that the launch is coming up if carriers are updating their inventory databases in anticipation of these devices.
Last we heard, pixel 6a might be arriving as in the month of May, so the pixel watch might just be launching alongside it. well, soon enough, we would find out seeing as may is only just some months away.
