Just before the Google Pixel 8 make its arrival later in the year, we all should be seeing the Google Pixel 7a, and the latest leak around the anticipated mid-ranger has given us a couple of real-world photos of the phone as well as the details on some of the specs.

The leak is coming from Debayan Roy on the social media platform Twitter via GSMArena. This is not the most prolific tipster out there, but he is however someone who has been accurate with some leaked smartphone information in the past.

The Leaked Photos Show off The Expected Google Pixel 7a Look

The shared and leaked photos show off the expected Google Pixel 7a look, with a cut-out for the selfie camera situated at the top of the display and the now-familiar Pixel camera bar that is around the rear. Generally, it looks exactly like what you would expect the Google Pixel 7a to look like.

And in regards to those specs, Roy lists a 6.1-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixel) 90 Hz OLED screen, which is on par with the Google Pixel 6a except for that bump which is up to 90Hz. And with that, it should ensure a smoother user experience in terms of scrolling and animations.

Google Pixel 7a to Run On Google Tensor G2 Processors

Apparently, there is a Tensor G2 processor that is running just about everything just as expected while the rear camera on the other hand is said to be a dual-lens 64MP+12MP affair. There is also the mention of 5W wireless charging which is not very fast, but however a first for the mid-range Pixel phone line.

Google Pixel 7a Launch Date

One thing that is not straight here is the mention of a launch date, but the pixel 6a which was launched last year was unveiled at Google I/O 2022 event. The developer conference for this year has been set for May 10. This is to assume that we might be seeing the Pixel 7a at the event, as it sounds reasonable enough.
