About United Nations Academic Impact Millennium Fellowship
The United Nations Academic Impact Millennium Fellowship is a semester-long leadership development program that takes place at campuses. The Fellowship is offered the United Nations Academic Impact and MCN, with the aim of advancing the leadership potential of fellows.
The Millennium Fellowship will convene, challenge, and celebrates student leadership for UN goals on campuses globally. The program is scheduled to run from August to November 2023, upon selection of cohorts of 8-20 Millennium Fellows.
Interested and Qualified applicants are strongly encouraged to apply early as the next priority deadline is February 28th 2023.

About United Nations
Established in 1997, the English language component of the Indigenous Fellowship Programme (IFP), takes place at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva, Switzerland.
The last four weeks of the program is often coinciding with the annual meeting of the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (EMRIP). The Millennium Fellowship programme is also aimed at Promoting the knowledge of indigenous peoples on existing international human rights instruments and mechanisms.

The Requirements for United Nations Academic Impact Millennium Fellowship
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old undergraduate who is currently enrolled in a college or university and
- In good standing at that academic institution for the duration of the program.
- Candidates must be committed to convene in-person at least eight times during the Millennium Fellowship with the Campus Directors to share best practices and take collective action.
- Students must be available to meet on-campus, in-person for the Fellowship sessions. Any session missed attracts expulsion and the forfeiture of the designation as a Millennium Fellow.
