- Host Support: Your chosen host will receive a monthly subsidy of €500 to cover project-related costs.
Eligibility Criteria for the German Chancellor Fellowship
The German Chancellor Fellowship seeks to sponsor future decision-makers, influencers and thought leaders, regardless of their field. If you meet the following criteria, you’re encouraged to apply:
- You hold citizenship from Brazil, China, India, South Africa, or the USA.
- Work in fields like politics, business, media, administration, society, or culture and possess demonstrable initial leadership experience.
- Have completed your first academic degree (Bachelor’s or comparable degree) no more than twelve years ago, with the key date for this calculation being October 1, 2024.
- Aspire to conduct an independently developed project with a host of your choice in Germany.
- You are required to possess a good proficiency in English and/or German language
