Ferrari Purosangue SUV debuts on September 13 and it unsurprisingly sounds great.
Ferrari Purosangue SUV Debuts on September 13
Back in March, Ferrari unveiled its very first teaser for its upcoming Purosangue SUV which is the first foray by the automaker into high-riding performance. We learned back in May that it will be coming with a V12 under its hood. And right now, on the eve of its unveiling and debut, we get to hear it roar.
Ferrari Posted a Purosangue Teaser to Its Twitter Account
Just recently, Ferrari posted a Purosangue teaser to its Twitter account. And the released teaser now confirms that it will be making its debut on September 13 at 7 pm CET (1 pm ET). Additionally, to show off a shadowy front end and a fast flashing through many other parts of the body, the teaser gives a clear idea of what it will be sounding like. And as you may have expected, it sounds great with many of the traditional V12 howls we are accustomed to. I mean, it’s a Ferrari after all.
A V12 Might Not Be the Only Engine on Offer in the First SUV of Ferrari
It also might be possible that a V12 will not be the only engine on offer in the first SUV of Ferrari. A twin-turbo V8 may however provide a less expensive shift. And given the bend of the company toward electrification lately, it could be picking up the V6 hybrid powertrain from the excellent 296 GTB. But anyways, we will be finding out more about this SUV on Tuesday.
The Ferrari Purosangue Will Be Having Some Really Interesting Competition upon Its Debut
Upon its debut, the Ferrari Purosangue will be having some really interesting competition. That being said, we cannot wait to see what else this interesting SUV offers. Another recent SUV, Aston Martin’s DBX already has proved to be quite a fun ride, most especially in 697-horsepower DBX707 form. Its basic competitor however will likely be the Lamborghini Urus, which as of late debuted the 657-ho Urus performance variant.
