Applications are currently ongoing for the Earth 360° Competition of Arts 2023. The Earth 360° is a yearly arts festival that invites both amateur and professional visual storytellers to present captivating ideas about environmental issues.
Its goal is to raise awareness and foster greater consciousness among the general public about the imminent “Triple Planetary Crisis” while also inspiring collective efforts towards a sustainable future.
Earth 360° Competition of Arts 2023 Theme
The theme for this year’s event is “River and Riverine Lives”. If you are interested in showcasing the beauty of rivers while raising awareness of the negative impact their decline has on culture, livelihoods, and ecosystems, this is the perfect opportunity. You can express your emotions and tell the stories of people who live near rivers through various mediums such as drawing, photography, digital art, and video films.

Drawing
- The Best Drawing winner will receive a Crest, books worth Tk 5,000, and a Certificate of Appreciation.
- The second-place winner in the Drawing category will be awarded a Crest, books worth Tk 4,000, and a Certificate of Appreciation.
- The third-place winner in the Drawing category will receive a Crest, books worth Tk 3,000, and a Certificate of Appreciation.
Digital Arts
- The recipient of the Best Drawing award will be presented with a Crest, Certificate, and Tk 30,000 as a prize.
- The second-place winner in the Drawing category will receive a Crest, Certificate, and Tk 25,000.
- The third-place winner in the Drawing category will be awarded a Crest, Certificate, and Tk 20,000.
Photography
SENIOR SECTION
- The winner of the Best Photography category will be presented with a Crest, Certificate, and Tk 30,000 as a prize.
- The runner-up in the Best Photography category will receive a Crest, Certificate, and Tk 25,000.
- The third-place winner in the Best Photography category will be awarded a Crest, Certificate, and Tk 20,000.
JUNIOR SECTION
- The winner of the Best Photography category will be awarded a Crest, Certificate, and Tk 25,000 as prize money.
- The runner-up of the Best Photography category will receive a Crest, Certificate, and Tk 20,000.
- The third-place winner of the Best Photography category will receive a Crest, Certificate, and Tk 15,000.
Video Film
- The winner of the Best Film: Short Fiction category will receive a Crest, Certificate, and an award of Tk 50,000.
- The winner of the Best Film: Documentary category will receive a Crest, Certificate, and an award of Tk 50,000.
- The winner of the Best Vlog category will receive a Crest, Certificate, and an award of Tk 30,000.
- There will be 3 Special Mentions awarded, each receiving a Crest, Certificate, and an award of Tk 20,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Drawing Competition is for participants up to the age of 15.
- The Digital Art Competition is open to everyone.
- The Photography (Junior Sections) category is for participants up to the age of 30.
- The Photography (Senior Sections) category is for participants who are 31 years old and above.
- The Video Films category is open to all.
- In each category, except for the Drawing Competition, a participant can submit a maximum of 3 entries.
- Participants from different countries are welcome, but their entries must be focused on Bangladesh’s rivers.
Evaluation Criteria
A group of judges, usually skilled professionals in the relevant creative industry, will assess the submissions using criteria such as creativity, alignment with the theme, technical expertise, and overall influence. The winners will be chosen based on these assessments.
