Dying Light 2 Story DLC Have Saved this Summer. Techland recently announced that the Dying Light 2’ first Story would be getting a push back to September.
Originally set for June release, Dying Light 2’s Story DLC would not expand on the ending of the game. Instead, it covers events that took place parallel to the main story. Talking to wccftech, Lead Tymon Smektal revealed that the story DLC would be picking up right after Aiden’s arrival in the city.

But, the extra content would require more time for a little spit and polish, as revealed by techland on Twitter:
“Dear Pilgrims, your Feedback always has the highest priority for us, and I want to be honest and transparent with you,” the official dying light 2 account tweeted. “We will require more time to develop the first story DLC. It is now planned to be released in September.”

June is expected to experience the release of the first game chapter, dubbed in the footsteps of a Nightrunner. It would be filled with content and events. And Photo Mode would be making its debut.
