Eligibility Criteria for the Deakin STEM Scholarship

To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Nationality: You must be a citizen of one of the following countries: Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, or Vietnam.
  • Commencement Date: You should be a new student starting your course at Deakin, with the latest commencement date being Trimester 3, 2026.
  • Entry Requirements: Meeting the entry requirements for your chosen course, including English language proficiency, is essential.
  • Academic Performance: Maintain a weighted average mark (WAM) of at least 65% during each previous year of study at Deakin. Additionally, you should have at least 8 credit points to complete in your course, applicable if you are a student readmitting to Deakin.
  • You must be studying a Deakin undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program, including honors, within the Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Built Environment (SEBE).
