The 2023 edition of the Chinese Government SWUFE Scholarship category B is now Open. SWUFE is a renowned Chinese Government Scholarship institution that recommends candidates who meet the program requirements to the China Scholarship Council (CSC).
The Chinese Government SWUFE Scholarship is aimed at Promoting mutual understanding, cooperation, and exchanges in various fields between China and other countries. The scholarship is offered through the Ministry of Education P.R.C. to sponsor outstanding international students to pursue graduate study in China.
There are two types of Scholarship programs established by the Chinese Government through the Ministry of Education, they’re the University Postgraduate Program and the “Silk Road” Program. The final admission result is subject to the expert review results announced by China Scholarship Council (CSC).

- Candidates should Submit online applications to the Chinese Government Scholarship System at: http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/register. Please note that the Agency Number of SWUFE is 10651.
- Confirm that the application information and documents are correct and valid as Applicants shall bear the consequences caused by any invalid information.
Eligibility Criteria for Chinese Government SWUFE Scholarship Qualification
To be eligible for Chinese Government SWUFE Scholarship Category B, you are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Candidates must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport in accordance with the Nationality Law of The People’s Republic of China
- Applicants are expected to abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and local government as well as the regulations of SWUFE.
- Al Undergraduate students applying for master’s or doctoral degree programs who will graduate in the current year must obtain a nationally recognized corresponding diploma before enrolling in the year of admission
- Candidates holding a recognized bachelor’s degree and applying for a Master’s Degree or master’s degree applying for a doctoral degree program can apply.
- The applicant Age Limit for the master’s degree program is 18-35 years old, while those applying for the doctoral degree program are 18-40 years old.

- Study plan proposal (minimum of 1000 characters or words)
- Valid language certificate
- Non-Criminal Record
- The first page of the personal passport
- Examination Record for Foreigner
