Assassin’s Creed Mirage

As suggested by previous leaks, Mirage would follow Basim – a side character that was first introduced in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla as he journeys from common street thief to master assassin. Just as another batch of leaks predicted, it would be set in Iraq’s capital city of Baghdad, 20 years before the events of Valhalla.

The narrative director Sarah Beaulieu stated that the game would place some big emphasis on the story and memorable characters. As is tradition with Assassins’ Creed games, a few historical figures will pop up as side characters, while the expanse actress Shohreh Aghdashloo would provide the voice of Basim’s mentor.

If you Pre-order the game, you would be granted access to the 40 theives side quest, an image of which had already leaked on Reddit earlier in the month.

A Load More Assassin’s Creed to Come

Mirage is not the only Assassins creed project that Ubisoft has stored in the pipeline. It’s taking the stealthy, stubby series to feudal Japan with a new game that is codenamed red. The game has been placed under development by Ubisoft Quebec, the studio that made Assassin’s creed odyssey.

Another Assassin’s Creed project codenamed Hexe also got revealed. Details on the game are slim, but the game looks more like a folk horror take on Assassin’s Creed, with its twig-like logo reminding us of the Blair witch project. It is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the studio behind Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. According to a Leak from Try Hard Games, it’s would be set in 16th—century Europe during a wave of witch hunts.

A mobile-exclusive Assassin’s creed game is also in the works. Codenamed jade, it is expected to feature the usual gameplay that you would expect from an Assassin’s creed title – As you parkour right through an ancient city between bouts of melee combat – optimized for mobile. We also know it would be set in China and would feature character customization.
