Tech company Apple is reportedly holding a product launch even stipulated to hold on October 30, when it is expected to make several announcements that are related to its Mac product line.

The said announcement is coming after Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reported that the company is gearing up to launch a new 24-inch iMac. Apple for now has not yet updated the 24-inch iMac since 2021, when it reportedly gave its all-in-one desktop a colorful makeover as well as its M1 chip. Gurman however reported on the development of a new 24-inch iMac as far back as the month of March; writing at the time that the new iMac in question was at an “advanced stage of development,” further revealing that it could debut at this very event. A more recent report from the analyst, however, also suggests that the MacBook Pro could well be due for a refresh.

Apples Track Record and Times around the Year When It Launches Its Products

Apple as you know does not disclose which products it is announcing ahead of its launch events. The company, however, has historically released new Mac products around this very time of year. Back in November 2020, for instance, the company introduced its M1 chip for Macs, which is the first in-house processor of the company. The firm also reportedly launched a Mac Mini in October 2018.

The invitation for the event that is set to take place on October 30 doesn’t really provide many clues, but it however does include the tagline “Scary fast,” which is possibly referencing its M-series processors. Also, the event page in question that is on Apple’s site has the Apple logo turning into the MacOS Finder icon.

Apple Has Had a Really Busy Year

The event as you should know also comes just before the next quarterly earnings call of Apple on Nov. 2.

It has really been a busy year for Apple product launches. And in addition to releasing annual updates to core products such as the iPhone and Mac, Apple also reportedly unveiled its much-anticipated Vision Pro headset at its Worldwide Developers Conference back in June.
