The Ahimsa Fellowship Program in India is now accepting applications for Cohort 2023/2024 until July 03, 2023. This Fellowship is said to be the first of its kind in India. It is designed to Provide guidance to individuals who are dedicated and have compassion for animals.

The objective of this Fellowship is to establish a network of leaders who are keen on animal protection and to work closely with state governments and district administrations to enforce animal protection laws in India.
The fellowship will have fellows go through intense training in other to inculcate an in-depth understanding of current legal and policy regimes. In addition, Fellows will be provided with the needed support to assume advocacy roles in line with their interest and skills in Animal protection.

Benefits of the Ahimsa Fellowship Program
- During the first 2 months of the program, fellows will receive a stipend of Rs. 10,000 per month. Subsequently, fellows will be given a stipend of Rs. 20,000 monthly.
- Provision of Travel and accommodation costs for fellow’s residential contact class Participation will be covered by Team Ahimsa Fellowship.
- Leveraging Knowledge to Protect All Animals

- Stage 2: Successfully shortlisted Candidates from the first Stage will be invited for the Stage 2 Evaluation round

Requirements for Ahimsa Fellowship Program 2023/2024
- To be eligible, the Applicants must possess a degree in any discipline from a recognized higher Institution
- Must possess sound communication skills (English and a Second Local Language)
- Applicants must be dedicated to the cause of animal welfare/rights
- Should be a Persistence, lateral & innovative thinker
- He or She should be between 22 and 35 years old And must be available to commit to the entire 9 Month duration of the program
- Should be an Indian Citizen
