Nvidia and Cyberpunk Announcement

Google, alongside Nvidia and Cyberpunk 2077 studio CD Projekt Red, just teased a cryptic message that involves cracking a code, a gaming announcement, as well as two dates.

The first date in question, according to the description on a surprise YouTube video on the official Chromebook channel for those that don’t know, is November 18th, 2023, at 8 PM ET and it corresponds to a real-life location – Times Square in New York City. And the second date on the other hand is November 20th, 2023, on YouTube, which most likely in question means on the same Chromebook channel just as the mysterious message. But oddly enough, there is however no date for the second ‘location.’

There is also the first and initial half of the message found in the description: “Game more than you thought you could and get ready to crack the code.”

Google Promoting the Gaming Capabilities Chromebooks

Google as you should know has for some time now been promoting the gaming capabilities of Chromebooks’ for a while now, and they revealed that it could natively play Minecraft, a host of some of the best PC games, as well as also stream titles gives a strong point as to what the upcoming event or launch will be revealing. The Plus line of Google Chromebooks promises to standardize the specs for Chromebooks in the future and going forward, thus ensuring that they can handle native gaming even better than they do right at this moment, but play Cyberpunk 2077 natively. Probably not.

The Other Two Partners in the Campaign

The other two partners that are in on this campaign are also well entrenched in the gaming industry and market, with Nvidia in question putting out the best graphics cards for PC gaming and its GeForce Now subscription-based cloud gaming service, and CD Projekt Red on the other hand, which is the development studio that is behind Cyberpunk 2077.

It will be very interesting to get to see what all this “cracking the code” is all about. And judging from the fact that two separate dates are reportedly listed in the video, it is most likely that an event in which participants have to combine two separate clues from those two dates and then combine or get to solve them together in order to get the answer to this mystery.

What Google Aims To Achieve With This Campaign

If it is that Google is going so far as to create a marketing campaign that involves one of the most expensive places in the world to advertise in, it must really be something that is worth it. It will however be interesting to see just how it all unfolds starting this very weekend.
