As stated in a new blog post, most of the hosts would now be able to schedule a meeting with Focus Mode set to automatically start. While the main purpose of this feature was to originally promote online learning, it also can help larger businesses with many employees stay on task while their meetings are taking place.
For all those that are unfamiliar, Zoom’s Focus mode place meetings participants in a view where they can only see themselves, the host and the co-hosts, and the content being shared. However, the hosts and the co-host also get to choose to view participants in the Gallery view that would make them able to see everyone immediately.
Talking about Gallery view, Zoom recently included the ability for users to save a custom Gallery view order. Meetings host now get to customize their gallery order to each of the unique meeting ID which allows them to load the saved customized order before a meeting as opposed to having to make changes to the order every time, they are making a video call.
Video Mail
To include helping users get more productive meetings, zoom also has announced a new update for its cloud phone system that actually will make things easier for colleagues to remain in touch.
While the only way to drop a message for someone that didn’t answer a call nowadays is via voicemail, things seem to be going sideways as most people no longer check their voicemail. For this reason, Zoom has taken it upon itself to offer users a more personable alternative to standard voicemail.

Now, zoom users get to greet their colleagues with video greetings that would enable them to leave video messages right from their voicemail inbox. You get to check out this support document from Zoom and begin to leave video greetings or video mail for some of your colleagues.
While some of the users have fully returned to the office fully, other organizations have started using Hybrid work Policies where some people are at the office while others would work from home.
