The reported recall affects the Hopper M30 Soft Cooler 1.0 and 2.0, the Hopper M20 Soft Backpack Cooler, and the SideKick Dry Gear Case. An alert that was posted by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission said that there have been 1,399 reports of the magnet-lined closures filing or degrading. With that being said, there have been so far no reports of ingestion or injury, so the notice stated.

The Recalled Products Were Sold Between March 2018 and January 2023

The gear and cooler were sold between March 2018 and January 2023 in Canada and the US in stores such as Dick’s Sporting Goods, ACE Hardware, and Academy Sports + Outdoors, as well as online from both Amazon and Yeti. The products come in a variety of colors such as navy, charcoal, and different shades of green.
