Good News! The International Water Resources Association (IWRA) has announce the application call for the World Water Envoys Program 2022.
The IWRA World Water Envoys Program will offer the selected representatives the opportunity to showcase the difficult water issues they and their communities face, including the solutions they are exploring.

The IWRA World Water Congress is one of the biggest events bringing together water researchers and policy practitioners in the world. The congress is currently In its 18th edition since 1973 with the theme: Water for All: Harmony between Humans and Nature.
IWRA World Water Congress aims to promote coordination and balance between the water needs of humans and nature. It also facilitates knowledge and experience sharing, focusing on investigating the relationship between water, humans, and nature.
It also reconcile all water-related factors in an organized way, and implementing water management strategies via systematic approaches.

About International Water Resources Association(IWAR)
International Water Resources Association(IWAR) was established in 1971 as is a non-profit, non-governmental, international member based Association.
IWAR provides a global, knowledge and research based forum working at the interface of science and policy for the sustainable use and management of the world’s water resources.
The association is an international network of multidisciplinary experts on water resources. At the global stage, IWRA seeks to improve and expand the understanding of water resources through education, research and information exchange.
In the course of the Congress, each Envoy will have the opportunity to briefly introduce the challenges in creating balance to the water needs of humans and nature in their community and the impacts on daily life.
Participants will also have the chance to discuss these issues and potential solutions in more detail over the following days with experts attending the Congress and in a dedicated workshop.

Eligibility Criteria for IWRA World Water Envoys Program
- The ideal Candidates should be between 18 and 35 years old and be able to talk about their situation in public and in English.
- Regardless of where the candidates comes from, their community must have conflicting water needs for both humans and nature, and they must be pursuing or have achieved a solution to harmonize these.
How to Apply IWRA World Water Envoys Program
To apply for IWRA World Water Envoys Program, candidates have to submit the following:
- A short video record of up to 2 minutes made on a phone or laptop. In this video, introduce the conflicting water needs of humans and nature in their community, and also explain the problem is, it’s impact to their community, and to Proffered solutions explored so far.
- A high-resolution headshot of yourself with a clear background.
- One high-resolution digital photo, illustrating the impact of conflicting water needs of humans and nature in their community and/or the attempted solution. Meanwhile, the candidate should be the author of the photo.
