It is a coveted scholarship, hosted by the public charitable foundation based in Bristol, Vermont, USA. It holds the promise of empowering students on the path of education, community service, and leadership.

WMI Scholars Program 2024
The program distinguishes itself by providing bright students in the developing world with scholarships and skills training, thereby cultivating a network of grassroots leaders poised to catalyze community transformation.
Each year, WMI passionately supports students pursuing various educational objectives beyond secondary school. The spectrum ranges from university and polytechnic education to trade schools.
The financial support provided is geared primarily towards covering tuition and school fees, along with additional support for books and supplies, although the scholarship might not always cover the entirety of these educational expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
The WMI Scholars Program outlines clear eligibility criteria that must be met by students from developing countries. These include:
- The ideal candidate, whether male or female, should have successfully completed secondary education with good to excellent grades.
- The age criterion requires the applicant to be 35 or under on March 1, 2024.
- Candidates are expected to pursue their first bachelor’s degree or diploma
- Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to benefitting their community and contributing to the growth of their home country. WMI places a premium on candidates committed to giving back.
- Prospective applicants are encouraged to showcase their dedication by volunteering before applying.
Financial Assistance
Successfully Selected Candidates will receive funds for their education.

Mail-in Application:
For those opting for the traditional route, applicants need to print the 2024 application form, available from December 1, 2023. Thorough completion of the form and attachment of all required documents are essential before sending it to the office.
