A new behind-the-scenes look into next year’s Mission Impossible: Death Reckoning part One shows the theater’s favorite stuntman making an attempt at an incredible trick which is riding a bike motorcycle off a cliff and then immediately into a BASE jump. “This is far and away the most dangerous thing we’ve ever attempted,” Tom Cruise was cited saying in the video which was released on Monday.

The Stunt Is Years in the Making

The stunt as you should know is years in the making. Tom Cruise has practiced over 500 skydives and 13,000 motor cross jumps to finesse the trick for the record seventh installment of the spy thriller. The team reportedly conducted the stunt back in 2020 in Norway.

The actor was said to coordinate a master plan with experts in the various disciplines involved such as motorcycling and BASE jumping according to Christopher McQuarrie, the writer, and director of the movie.

“The only things you have to avoid in a stunt like this is serious injuries or death,” Miles Daisher, Mission Impossible’s Base jumping coach, revealed to the camera.
