Applications for the Thiel Fellowship for Innovators 2024 are now open. The Thiel Fellowship is tailored for young individuals who aspire to create and innovate rather than confine themselves to a classroom setting. Each year, between 20 and 30 participants are selected.
Established by technology entrepreneur and investor Peter Thiel in 2011, the Thiel Fellowship is a two-year initiative designed for young individuals with a passion for building new ventures.
Thiel Fellows opt to either defer or discontinue their college education to receive a grant and support from the Thiel Foundation’s extensive network of founders, investors, and scientists.
Benefits of Thiel Fellowship for Innovators 2024
- Successful fellows will receive a $100,000 grant to support their endeavours.
Eligibility
- Individuals aged 22 or younger are eligible to apply.
- Applicants may currently be students; however, if selected, they will be required to withdraw from their academic pursuits to accept the Fellowship.
- Applicants who have already attained an undergraduate degree are ineligible.
- While applicants are not required to have incorporated a company or developed a complete product, they must demonstrate significant progress towards a tangible vision.
- Applications are accepted from individuals only; team applications will not be considered.
