Gaming Company Razer has now launched its very own deck competitor handheld device known as the Razer Edge in two versions; the 5G model and the Wi-Fi model. The Edge in case you don’t know is a gaming handheld that is android based. And according to Razer, this device is the “world’s first dedicated 5G handheld console.”

Razer Edge Gaming Handheld Specs and Features

The Razer Edge is powered by the Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 and it sports a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 2,400 x 1,080 FHD+ resolutions as well as a 144Hz refresh rate. The device also comes bundled with the Razer Kishi V2 Pro which as you should know includes HyperSense haptic feedback by Razer and a 3.5mm audio port. This device is also compatible with Nvidia GeForce Now, and it is inclusive of the just launched RTX 4080 Ultimate subscription tier which is quite excellent.

Razer’s 5G version is in collaboration with Verizon and it is sold both at its in-store and online store locations. The Wi-Fi version meanwhile can be bought via Razer stores and Razer’s online store for $399.99. The Edge at the moment is only available in the United States.

Razer Edge at RazerCon in 2022 As Well As At the CES 2023

Prior to this, Razer showcased the Razer Edge at RazerCon in 2022 as well as at the CES 2023, and in the process got many accolades at both events. This is not the first time that Razer has released a gaming tablet. The company back in 2013 launched a gaming handheld that is windows 8 based which it also called the Razer Edge although carrying a much bigger price tag.
