Of course, “Bugsnax” wasn’t a true PS5 exclusive in that it was also on PC, PS4, and Mac, so perhaps this incoming launch should not be too surprising. Still, it’s always notable when the console exclusives make the jump to other platforms, especially in the case of “Bugsnax,” where the jump to other platforms – especially in the case of “Bugsnax,” where this announcement is coming almost a year-and-a-half to the day after the game got launched on the PlayStation 5.

In any case, In any case, the incoming Xbox game pass released for “Bugsnax” is not the only thing that was revealed by the developer Young Horses. “Bugsnax” also is getting an interesting new content update called “Isle of Bigsnax” that would be added to a new island to explore and oversized Bugsnax – appropriately called Bigsnax – to catch. Even better is that it would be free for everybody that owns “Bugsnax,” so even if “Isle of Bugsnax” has all the makings of an expansion, it would actually not cos the player’s anything to check it out.

When is Bugsnax Launching on Xbox Game Pass?

As stated in a post on Xbox Wire today, “Bugsnax” would be heading straight to Xbox game pass on the 28 of April 2022. The game is expected to be available through all versions of the game pass – cloud, console, and PCC – for Xbox one, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows computers. That makes “Bugsnax” a day-one addition for the Xbox Game pass, as it would be hitting Microsoft subscription service the same day it launches on Xbox Platforms.

The 28 of April is also the date that “Isle of Bigsnax” would be heading live for all platforms. The PlayStation Blog has talked about the details of the expansion showing off some of the supersized Bigsnax Players we would encounter and explaining how players would be able to capture them. The new content in “Isle of Bigsnax” would not get limited to the update’s new island, as Players would also be able to work on and decorate a hut of their own back in Snaxburg. Players would even get to collect an array of hats and place them on their Bugsnax.

Bugsnax PlayStation Status

It looks like a fairly sizable update for the “Bugsnax” owners. Perhaps owing to its status as a PlayStation Launch Title, “Bugsnax” has managed to capture a fairly sizable audience during its release, so we would see if the game would be able to expand that further on Xbox Platforms and Game pass. Look for “Bugsnax” to land on the Xbox Game pass later in the month.
