Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Switch OLED Revealed Alongside New Trailer
The amount of great Pokémon news would leave us to wonder where to begin, but it is hard to deny that a whole new themed console should take the main stage. Nintendo broke the news using Business Wire and added the product to its very own store, making it very official: A new Nintendo Switch OLED is coming, and its release date is getting closer.
The console has been scheduled to be release on November 4, 2022, and it offers a redesigned look complete with new colors and new joy cons. Priced at $356.99, it would be made available at some stores and sold separately from other games.
The new Console looks beautiful. The front of the dock is glossy and white, and it features the art of the two legendary ‘mons from “Pokémon scarlet and violet,” Miraidon and Koraidon. The back of the dock sports a Poke ball design, that is quite familiar to the franchise fans.
The console itself is mixed with black, red, and violet, with the back of the system being decorated using all types of Pokémon art, which includes the three starters that are present in the new generation which includes: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quality.
This New trailer Would Reveal Your New Rivals
The trailer for the upcoming “Pokémon Scarlet and Violet” is quite short, but it is also action-packed and between the lines, a fair amount of information has been revealed. We got to see this generation’s version of the team rocket, the evil gang players will have to fight in “scarlet and Violet.” Plus, we got to see quite a few new Pokémon, victory road, and the missions that the fans are waiting to see in the games.
A lot of this is not spelled out to most of us, so at the moment, all our actions are carried out based on assumptions, but it seems kind of clear from the trailer that the rival gang in this version of Pokémon is going to be titled the team star.
Made up of rebellious students that seem to be up to no good, the game does not look that intimidating, but it does seem to be flashy and entertaining. This goes in line with what we have seen in the past Pokémon games, less of the “criminals who would want to destroy the world” and more of the “not too scary rebels.”
Nintendo also introduced us to a gym leader called Brassius, and a Pokémon League Chairwoman, Geeta. The two characters do a good job of showcasing Pokémon’s new and fresh character design, with a lot of details for you to show off its capabilities. To add, we got a sneak peek of the oath of legends, where you would be able to seek out the legendary Herba Mystica alongside other rarities that are useful.
