New leak suggests that Daredevil: Born Again will not debut until the year 2025 on Disney Plus. The TV shows from Agatha and Ironheart have also been handed new release dates too according to the leaks.
Daredevil: Born Again Debut 2025
Marvel has reportedly handed new release dates as well as launch windows to three of its forthcoming TV shows, as per new US Copyright Office filings.
The reports in question, which were initially seen by Marvel fan account Scarlet Witch Updates as well as industry insider The Cosmic Circus (all thanks to Reddit for the catch), suggest that a trio of Disney Plus shows are now set to launch between late 2024 and late 2025.
And per the filings, Agatha: Coven of Chaos will be the first and initial of these Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) series to find their way to Disney’s primary streamer. The Marvel Phase 5 project as you should know, which has reportedly been renamed Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, will be making its TV debut in the month of September 29, 2024. The show was originally given a placeholder release window of late 2023.
Daredevil: Born Again reboot of Netflix’s Daredevil series
Daredevil: Born Again which is an apparent soft reboot of Netflix’s Daredevil series, was originally set to arrive in early 2024. And now, it will seemingly join its MCU counterparts on Disney Plus in the month of January of the year 2025. Ironheart as you should know was expected to be one of Marvel’s 2023 TV offerings, with the standalone adventure of the character coming a year after she reportedly made her MCU debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
However, her solo project on the other hand isn’t very much likely to land on one of the best streaming services until September 3, 2025. MCU leakers in question have prior to suggested that this will enable Ironheart to have closer ties to the War Machine-fronted Armor Wars, which is yet another Marvel film that is still very much in early development.
Loki Season 2 on Disney Plus
This latest leak in question for those that don’t know comes just over a month after initial reports emerged that Loki season 2, which began airing on Disney Plus in early October, would be the final Marvel TV show of the year 2023. And according to those in the know, Marvel chose to delay many of its upcoming TV shows because of the actor’s strike and now-resolved writers strike, which halted production on projects across Hollywood.
Marvel Reportedly Pushing Back the Launch of Several TV Shows
If genuine, (October 6) US Copyright Office filings of today lend further weight to Marvel reportedly pushing back the launch of several TV shows. That in question would also mean that Marvel Studios’ Echo, which is the Maya Lopez-starring miniseries that was initially set to arrive in full in late November and will not debut until sometime in 2024, either.
Other Studios to Be Hit By the Just Resolved Industrial Action
Marvel’s TV division as you should know is not the only one to have been hit by the just recently resolved as well as ongoing industrial action. The Disney subsidiary back in June, also delayed several movies on its Phase 5 as well as Phase 6 slates, apart from the one big exception.
