If anything about the latest rumors is genuine, then the new RDNA 3 GPUs of AMD will have plenty of launch stock at least over the first month of its shipping.

December 13 is the big launch day for the RX 7900 XTX and 7900 XT as per a fresh new leak on the social media platform Twitter from Kyle Bennett which is previously of hardOCP and apparently is verified by various sources, there will be more than 200,000 of these GPUs available in Q4 which of course means this December.

Bennett Claims That There Will Be In Excess Of 30,000 Reference Boards

The leaker Bennett further claims that there will be in excess of 30,000 reference boards and those are graphics cards that are built to the default spec of AMD which also you can think of as a baseline with custom cards set to go much faster than this on sale of the launch right off the start.

Number of Third-Party Custom Graphics Cards That Will Be Available On Shelves on the Very First Day

What we are not told however is how many of those beefier third-party custom graphics cards will be available on shelves on the very first day, but given the mentioned timeframe earlier which is of course the rest of the month, a good chunk of those remaining 170,000 boards are going to be released in batches in the course of the next couple of weeks.
