Netflix Cancels Resident Evil Series

After just one season, resident evil gets the axe. This is so after the streaming service on Friday decided to cancel their TV show adaptation of the movie on Friday and many seem to be relieved with the decision.

The resident evil series got a rating of 3.9 on Rotten Tomatoes thus reflecting a largely negative response from many of the fans of the Resident Evil Capcom game franchise which made its debut on PlayStation back in 1996. If you are one of the many people on the other hand who are saddened by the cancellation of the show, you can rest assured that one of the star characters of the show, Albert Wesker will be coming back soon in the upcoming project of Dead By Daylight: Project W.

It was announced in a Deadline exclusive that the popular streaming platform made the decision not to renew the action-horror show after its very first season failed to make its mark on the heart of many of its viewers.

He further went on to thank Andrew Dabb, the showrunner and his fellow co-stars, and also “the executives at Netflix who believed in the show.”
