More Than 30 New Emojis are coming in iOS 16.4
Get ready as new emojis are on the way to your iPhone. A total of 31 new emoji designs arrived on iOS with the reported release of the first iOS 16.4 developer beta on Thursday as per Emojipedia.
The new emoji is said to be inclusive of a new smiley, a shaking head, new animals such as a moose and a goose, and new heart colors including light blue and plain pink. And according to Emojipedia, the plain pink heart has been long sought after, and it is one emoji that the platform has named one of the top emoji requests in 2015. The big emoji drop in iOS 15.4 last year included a melting face, a biting lip, and a pregnant woman, with a total of 37 new designs.
The Origin of the New Emojis
Emojipedia has said that the new emoji all come from the September 2022 recommendation list from Unicode, Emoji 15.0. And as of now, there is still no word on when the new emoji will be available across iOS devices, and the new designs of the new emoji just might change between now and upon their final release on iOS.
Apple reportedly released a couple of bug fixes and patches with the release of iOS 16.3.1 on Monday which is a couple of weeks after the release of new features in iOS 16.3.
