Microsoft Is Finally Fixing One of Its Most Taunting Faults

One annoying Microsoft Excel issue, at last, could be overall thanks to a new update from the tech firm.

The spreadsheet software has now announced that it is working on a new feature that hopefully will get to solve a major problem for users of Excel performing repetitive tasks. The new Office Scripts feature will allow users to record actions that are made in a spreadsheet, which can then not only be automated but be repeated, and in the process saving them hours of fiddling and frustration apparently.

The company in its update entry on the official Microsoft 365 roadmap notes that the update will let users of windows and Mac to benefits greatly from the efficiency and productivity boost.

The Tool Was Available Only To Users of Excel for the Web

Previously, the tool was available only to users of Excel for the web, with the firm now looking forward to bringing this initial success to many more users all over the globe. On whether any form of upgrades or charges will be made to the initial build, not much detail was offered, but hopefully, users will get to see a demo real soon.

As of the moment, the feature is still listed as being “in development” but however with a scheduled general availability date of March 2023. And with that being said, users will not get to wait any much longer.

This Is the Latest Upgrade for Microsoft Excel

The recent news is the latest upgrade for Microsoft excel as the firm is looking to make sure that its software remains productive and very useful for users everywhere. And this includes a recent upgrade that introduced formula suggestions, which then consider contextual data to suggest a handful of supported formulas and this is inclusive of SUM, AVERAGE, COUNTA, COUNT, MIN, and MAX. The company hopes that this will not just help its users to save time, but will however allow them to “learn more about Excel formulas as they use them.”

Other Excel Updates Worth Noting

A whole separate and different excel update elsewhere will let the software insert images into a cell directly, thus making them part and parcel of a worksheet for the first time, as opposed to just naturally floating on top of the sheet. The tech company says that this new function and feature should make your Excel Sheets to be more personalized and customizable thus giving your work a whole new set of views and dimensions.
