Requirements for the Mavis Brown Scholarship 2023/2024 Qualification
All Mavis Brown Scholarship applicants must meet the conditions below:
- Only Australian citizens are eligible for this scholarship
- He/She must be commencing a coursework degree in the field of medicine, law or engineering; and
- To be eligible, the applicant must show financial need
- Should be a resident of South Australia
- Must be currently enrolled full-time at Flinders University.
- Part-time students can apply only if they have extenuating circumstances that prevent them from studying full-time. These include disabilities, carer responsibilities etc.
- Any Part-time recipients will be paid pro rata.
Selection Criteria for Flinders University Mavis Brown Scholarship
- The extent to which the scholarship fund helps the student’s education
- Academic merit based on the entry score of applicants into the course in accordance with approved University procedures
- The student’s display of commitment towards their preferred field of study
